CRM Manager (Klaviyo) - Drive Retention & LTV Growth for a High-Growth DTC Brand
About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic, data-driven CRM Manager to own and optimize our email, SMS,
and loyalty marketing strategies. This is a hands-on role where you will take full ownership of customer retention, lifecycle marketing, and increasing Lifetime Value (LTV) while ensuring best-in-class customer engagement.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in email marketing and CRM, with at least 3 years of
hands-on experience in Klaviyo. You should be an expert in building automated lifecycle flows, segmenting audiences, optimizing loyalty programs, and ensuring compliance across all customer communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:
Retention & Lifecycle Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute data-driven CRM strategies to drive customer retention, repeat purchases, and revenue growth.
- Own the end-to-end email and SMS marketing strategy, from planning and execution to optimization and reporting.
- Implement segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver highly targeted messaging throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Continuously optimize automated email flows (welcome series, post-purchase, win-back, re-engagement, cart abandonment, etc.).
Loyalty & Subscription Management
- Own and optimize loyalty programs, ensuring customer engagement and repeat purchase incentives are fully leveraged.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and tech teams to enhance the loyalty and rewards experience.
- Work closely with subscription programs, optimizing customer retention and reducing churn.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
- Track and analyze key retention metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions, retention rates, LTV, unsubscribe rates, etc.).
- Leverage Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and CRM reporting tools to monitor campaign performance and drive improvements.
- Conduct A/B testing across subject lines, content, send times, and promotions to maximize engagement and revenue.
Compliance & Best Practices
- Ensure all CRM activities comply with GDPR, TCPA, and other data protection laws.
- Implement SMS marketing best practices, ensuring compliance while optimizing for engagement.
- Maintain email deliverability best practices, optimizing send frequency and sender reputation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, content, and design teams to align messaging and branding.
- Collaborate with e-commerce and product teams to integrate customer insights into site personalization and promotions.
- Partner with customer service and operations teams to ensure seamless customer communication and retention strategies.
- Ensure all email and SMS communications are well-written, engaging, and aligned with brand voice.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing and CRM (with a strong retention focus).
- At least 3 years of direct experience using Klaviyo (or an equivalent email automation platform).
- Proven experience in SMS marketing, loyalty program management, and compliance (GDPR, TCPA, CAN-SPAM).
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using Klaviyo, Google Analytics, and CRM reporting tools to track performance and optimize campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with segmentation, automation, and A/B testing to improve LTV and retention.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce customer journeys and how to maximize engagement at every stage.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Commercially driven mindset, always looking for ways to increase revenue through CRM and retention strategies.
- Exceptional English language skills, with experience in writing and proposing engaging copy for emails and SMS campaigns.
