Nexum is hiring a Performance Marketing Director (Paid Social) to lead global paid media strategy for our international cybersecurity, tech, retail and fashion clients. This is a hands-on, technical leadership role where you’ll scale multi-million $ paid social budgets across Meta, TikTok and Pinterest. Role Description
As Performance Marketing Director (Paid Social), you will be the senior lead responsible for shaping, executing and scaling global paid media strategy across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Pinterest. You will also oversee our Line operations in Taiwan, Thailand and Japan.
This role requires a hands-on platform specialist with deep technical knowledge of campaign architecture, optimisation and measurement, combined with the leadership skills to manage a global client relationship and guide a cross-market team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Own the global paid social strategy and roadmap for multiple global clients, as well as lead two executives in the rollout of global campaigns
- Lead a full-funnel media approach from awareness through conversion, integrating performance and brand objectives
- Design and oversee category-based GTM campaigns and regional activations across EMEA, Americas, and APAC
Performance & Optimisation
- Manage €5M+ annual budgets, delivering ROAS improvements through advanced platform usage
- Lead ASC+ adoption for double-digit efficiency vs standard campaigns
- Drive Dynamic Product Ads (DPAs) strategy with >70% revenue contribution
- Implement data-driven optimisation: CAPI, first-party data, and enhanced signal tracking
Platform & Innovation
- Scale paid social beyond Meta: expand into Pinterest, Reddit and TikTok as core growth drivers, as well as regional-specific platforms such as LINE Ads and WeChat
- Lead social commerce expansion (TikTok Shops, IG Checkout)
- Champion new formats (reels, partnership ads, creator UGC integrations)
Reporting & Accountability
- Deliver weekly KPI tracking, monthly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews
- Own reporting on revenue, ROAS, CPL and category growth
- Align with client stakeholders on OKRs and performance bonus delivery
What You’ll Do
- You will own the global paid social roadmap, driving growth across EMEA, Americas, and APAC
- You will architect ASC+ campaign structures, CAPI integrations and advanced automation
- You will scale Dynamic Product Ads (DPAs) to deliver revenue
- You will lead social commerce rollouts, including TikTok Shops and IG Checkout
- You will manage €5M+ annual budgets with strict ROAS and performance KPIs
- You will translate data into decisions through attribution modelling, signal optimisation and measurement frameworks
- You will mentor Nexum’s paid social team and act as senior client and practice lead
What We’re Looking For
- We are looking for someone with 8–10+ years of experience in performance marketing, including senior leadership roles
- You should have deep platform expertise across Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and Pinterest Ads, as well as tech platforms such as Smartly.io, Funnel.io, Optmyzr or Revealbot
- You should have a proven track record of scaling paid social to multi-million $ revenues at sustainable ROAS
- You should have experience managing global campaigns and adapting to regional nuances
- You should be data-driven, detail-oriented, and relentlessly focused on optimisation
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus!
