About the Role: We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head Data Scientist to lead our Product Data Science team. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in data science, machine learning, and analytics with strong leadership skills to drive data-informed decision-making and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of data scientists focused on product analytics, experimentation, and machine learning.
- Develop and execute a data science strategy aligning with product vision and business objectives.
- Oversee the design and implementation of predictive models, recommendation engines, experimentation frameworks, and other advanced analytical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Executives to identify opportunities for leveraging data-driven insights.
- Ensure high standards of data integrity, accuracy, and compliance.
- Mentor team members, fostering professional growth and cultivating a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Present complex analytical insights and strategic recommendations clearly to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative fields.
- 4+ years of professional experience in data science or analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in machine learning, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and experimentation.
- Strong proficiency with Python, R, SQL, and modern data science tools and frameworks.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to identify impactful applications of data science to product development.
