Our Customer is a software vendor of cloud-based ERP that practices human capital management and financial management applications. They offer products and services that allow customers to oversee time tracking, procurement, employee data, financial accounting, and expense management at any time and anywhere. They continue to offer enterprise-level software solutions for financial management, human resources, and planning. We are seeking a Principal UX Designer on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. There is opportunity for this project to extend. This is a high-impact opportunity to drive strategy, innovation, and execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. There is a preference for candidates who can work hybrid out of their Pleasanton, CA office but they are also open to great candidates who are fully remote!

Responsibilities

Own the UX strategy for the marketplace, turning bold ideas into seamless, user-first experiences.
Lead the full UX lifecycle—strategy, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and implementation—ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to align on goals, objectives, and requirements, advocating for design solutions that balance business success with exceptional user experience.
Collaborative iteratively with researchers, designers, writers, and engineers to bring cohesive, user-centered experiences to life.

Skills And Qualifications

6+ years of experience designing modern digital experiences and products.
Experience with transactional web platforms (e.g. e-commerce).
Deep understanding of UX principles, best practices, and standards.
An exceptional portfolio that highlights your design process, problem-solving, and the measurable impact your work has achieved in real-world projects.
Experience with Figma and prototyping tools.
A holistic, user-first mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred

Experience with digital marketing best practices.
Experience in the Enterprise/B2B sector.
