About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our client's team and play a critical role in building, enhancing, and scaling modern SaaS products and enterprise software solutions. This role is ideal for someone who possesses deep expertise in .NET technologies, distributed systems, cloud architecture, and SQL Server, while also embracing the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-enabled software development.
As a senior member of the engineering team, you will design, implement, and optimize applications, services, APIs, and integrations that support core business operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will help drive the adoption of AI technologies, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted engineering practices to improve developer productivity, platform capabilities, and business outcomes.
You will collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, Customer Success, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing SaaS solutions while mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Software Engineering & Platform Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS applications, backend services, APIs, cloud-hosted solutions, and third-party integrations.
Build and enhance core platform capabilities, including:
Authentication and identity management services.
Workflow and business process automation.
Reporting, analytics, and document generation solutions.
Payment processing and external system integrations.
Public and customer-facing APIs.
Customer self-service and administrative platform capabilities.
Design scalable, maintainable application architectures following SOLID principles and software engineering best practices.
Develop secure, well-documented, testable, and high-performing code.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues while maintaining application reliability and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, observability, monitoring, and deployment processes.
Participate in architectural planning and technical decision-making for new platform capabilities and enhancements.
AI Adoption & Intelligent Automation
Champion the adoption of AI-assisted software development tools and practices to improve engineering efficiency, code quality, and delivery speed.
Evaluate, prototype, and implement AI-powered capabilities within products and internal systems, including:
Intelligent workflow automation.
Natural language interfaces and conversational experiences.
AI-assisted reporting and content generation.
Knowledge retrieval and search enhancements.
Customer self-service and support experiences.
Identify opportunities to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, machine learning services, and AI APIs to solve business challenges.
Partner with product and engineering leadership to define and execute an AI roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.
Establish best practices for responsible AI usage, including governance, security, privacy, and compliance considerations.
Promote AI literacy across the engineering organization through mentoring, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
