About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React.js and modern styling frameworks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building clean, responsive, and maintainable user interfaces, while taking pride in writing high-quality code.

The backend stack is in Python, but your primary focus will be on the frontend application layer — crafting UI components, improving performance, and ensuring a smooth, consistent user experience.

You will work closely with a detail-oriented Product Owner who has high expectations for delivery quality and timelines. The role requires someone with the technical experience to accurately assess effort, communicate progress clearly, and deliver reliably in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js
• Implement modern and reusable styling with Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, and inline styles
• Collaborate with backend engineers integrating Python-based APIs for data and business logic
• Translate UI/UX requirements into pixel-perfect, functional, and accessible interfaces
• Optimize rendering performance and ensure consistent cross-browser behavior
• Provide clear and realistic time and effort estimates; manage deliverables with transparency
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices and standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs efficiently, ensuring product stability and usability

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development, primarily using React.js
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), React hooks, and state management (e.g., Redux, Context API)
• Strong foundation in CSS, including expertise in Tailwind, Styled Components, and inline styling patterns
• Familiarity with Python-based backends (Flask, Django, or FastAPI) and REST API integration
• Strong eye for design and detail — ability to convert mockups into well-structured, responsive layouts
• Comfortable working under tight timelines and managing expectations with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in an agile or sprint-based environment

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to TypeScript, Next.js, or React Query
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Knowledge of accessibility (a11y) and performance optimization techniques
• Practical understanding of component libraries and design systems
