Affiliate Marketing Manager

We need someone who can turn our growing audience into sustainable revenue streams.

This is a fractional role for someone who sees affiliate and lead-gen programs not as set-it-and-forget-it tasks, but as dynamic systems that require strategy, experimentation, and optimization. You'll build these programs from scratch, own their performance, and work directly with the CEO to ensure they're visible to both traditional search engines and emerging AI discovery platforms.

What You'll Do:

Affiliate Program

• Identify partnership opportunities aligned with our audience
• Establish relationships with affiliate networks and merchants
• Manage link creation, placement, and FTC compliance
• Build and maintain a centralized database of merchant relationships and terms
• Monitor performance metrics and run optimization experiments
• Collaborate on technical implementations

Lead-Generation Program

• Design and implement lead-gen forms and widgets across company properties
• Define qualification criteria and routing rules
• Set up lead scoring systems and follow-up workflows

AI & Distribution Strategy

• Partner with the CEO on making our content discoverable in AI engines and emerging platforms
• Apply SEO principles while thinking beyond traditional search
• Help shape an AI-first approach to audience development

Who You Are:

• Experienced in building and scaling affiliate and lead-gen programs
• Comfortable with both strategy and hands-on execution
• Analytical, with a bias toward testing and iteration
• Knowledgeable about SEO and emerging AI-driven discovery methods
• Selective about the projects you take on—you want work that matters
• Interested in the intersection of media, AI, and revenue innovation
