Software Engineer Manager (DevOps)

Our client is looking for a Software Engineering Manager with extensive experience leading DevOps teams and initiatives

This will be hybrid in the Naperville/Bolingbrook area

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate developer efficiency and quality efforts by implementing DevOps solutions, application performance monitoring, test automation and error management toolsets
• Partner with software engineering leaders to design and implement dev ops automation using target state CI/CD tools
• Advance testing automation framework
• Lead and participate in daily team standups, assists team in removing blockers

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in leading a team of software engineers including hiring, performance management, and career coaching
• 5+ years of experience in software development life cycle methodologies and managing project delivery
• 3+ years of experience in dev ops automation software like Azure DevOps, Jenkins or Chef to automate build and deployment with integrated test automation
• Previous experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus
