Our Business Services client is seeking a Video Designer to join their growing team!
As a Video Designer, you’ll be responsible for producing impactful video content, from concept through execution. This includes creating 2–3-minute standalone videos—such as explainer videos—that clearly communicate complex topics in an engaging and accessible way. You’ll also design video content that’s embedded into interactive experiences to further enrich user engagement. These videos are designed to motivate and inspire our clients’ employees to learn about the benefits available to them and understand how their employer is committed to their overall wellbeing. You’ll accomplish this work by collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life through motion graphics, animation, and video editing. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, visually savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize, edit, and produce video content from start to finish.
• Design and animate motion graphics to enhance storytelling and elevate brand visuals.
• Collaborate with creative leads, writers, and internal stakeholders to develop concepts and visual approaches.
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
• Prepare final assets for various platforms and formats, ensuring accessibility and brand consistency.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience working as a video designer.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects.
• Strong visual storytelling skills, with a good sense of pacing, composition, color, and sound design.
• Ability to take a project from concept to completion with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt quickly.
• Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
• Must have knowledge of current industry trends, tools, and video technologies.
• A portfolio or reel showcasing video editing and motion graphics work within the last three (3) years is required.
