Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to own how our products are positioned, launched, and understood in the market. You’ll sit at the intersection of product, sales and marketing; translating complex enterprise technology into clear, compelling value for life insurers, distribution partners and internal teams.
This role is critical to supporting enterprise sales motions, influencing roadmap direction and strengthening our presence in a conservative, highly regulated industry.
Temp to hire in Charlotte, North Carolina- Anywhere else this will be a consulting position that will last 3-6 months. If remote, you must be willing to travel on site up to 2 trips per quarter. MUST HAVE LIFE INSURANCE MARKETING EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities:
Strategic Product Marketing
- Define and refine product positioning and value propositions within the enterprise Insurtech market.
- Develop differentiated messaging that resonates with multiple enterprise buying personas.
- Align product messaging with revenue goals, sales pipeline development, and market strategy.
Product Positioning & Messaging
- Create and maintain clear messaging frameworks tailored to insurance carrier stakeholders, including CIOs, COOs, Chief Actuaries, and Heads of Distribution.
- Translate technical platform capabilities into business outcomes, such as operational efficiency, cost reduction, speed-to-market, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure consistent messaging across sales materials, digital channels, website content, and events.
Go-To-Market Strategy & Product Launches
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new product launches and major product enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to align messaging with product roadmap initiatives and customer needs.
- Coordinate launch activities across marketing, sales, customer success, and partner teams.
Content Development & Marketing Collateral
- Produce high-impact digital marketing materials, including:
- Sales presentations and pitch decks
- Product one-pagers and solution briefs
- Website and digital marketing content
- Video or multimedia content
- Case studies and thought leadership content
- Ensure materials are visually engaging and clearly communicate complex concepts.
Sales Enablement
- Create tools to support enterprise sales efforts, including:
- Sales decks and demo narratives
- Competitive battlecards
- Case studies and customer success stories
- RFP and proposal content
- Support strategic sales opportunities with customized messaging and tailored content.
Market & Customer Insight
- Develop a strong understanding of the insurance and Insurtech market landscape.
- Conduct competitive analysis, customer interviews, and win/loss reviews.
- Provide insights that inform product development, messaging strategy, and marketing campaigns.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Marketing Management, or Go-To-Market roles within SaaS, technology, fintech, or similar industries
- Experience supporting enterprise sales environments with complex buying cycles and multiple stakeholders
- Proven ability to develop product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value for enterprise buyers
- Experience creating messaging for multiple enterprise personas (e.g., CIO, COO, Product Leaders)
- Strong experience producing digital marketing and sales enablement materials (pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, website content, etc.)
- Ability to create visually engaging marketing collateral that supports enterprise sales efforts
- Experience supporting or leading product launches and go-to-market initiatives
- Ability to collaborate with product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams
- Experience conducting competitive analysis, customer interviews, and market research
- Strong written, verbal, and storytelling communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Portfolio of previous marketing work or collateral required
- Experience in insurance, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries preferred
- Exposure to Insurtech, enterprise SaaS platforms, APIs, or cloud-based technology solutions is a plus
Pay Range:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $55-$85 per hour, based on experience.

The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
