Reporting to the Director General, the TIACA Marketing Manager position will be responsible for the support, promotion, and implementation of TIACA programs and solutions.
Specifically, the position will support the following activities;
- Support membership growth
- Enhance communication effectiveness
- Increase product and service sales
- Develop TIACA Brand value and perception
The successful applicant will interface with and support the TIACA Secretariat team, existing members and prospective members, regional bodies, and partner organizations.
The Marketing position will be instrumental in assuring the TIACA events, including the Air Cargo Forum and Executive Summit attract high numbers of participants.
The position will develop specific campaign materials, including videos and other tools designed to enhance association success, meeting agreed KPIs and targets.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop campaign and marketing support materials to promote specific TIACA programs and create leads for solutions such as BlueSky, Training library, Climate Action Platform, and others as they are developed.
- Develop campaign and marketing support materials to facilitate TIACA membership growth, with specific focus on top 20 airlines, forwarders, ground handlers and airports.
- Develop campaign and marketing support materials to increase attendance at TIACA events.
- Develop campaign and marketing support material to establish new member categories covering drones and other industry sectors.
- Liaise with regional and national organizations such as airline, airport, freight forwarder, ground handling and shipper associations, developing relationships, identifying areas of common interest, and providing material to support TIACA growth and success.
- Develop supporting material to facilitate TIACAs enhanced social media presence and web site effectiveness.
Education, Qualification, Skills, and Experience:
- Marketing expertise, evidenced by a degree, including advanced use of creative tools and technologies.
- At least 3 years specialized experience in the field.
- Strong commercial background, innovative & entrepreneurial approach.
- Previous experience in event marketing and development.
- The ability to work in a global, multicultural environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
- Excellent communication capabilities, building trust and engagement within the industry.
- Fluency in oral and written English.
