Strategic and Sophisticated Marketing Automation Manager With Strong Salesforce Marketing Cloud Wanted

Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 base salary per year, plus bonus

Are You the Missing Piece?

If flawless execution, clean data, and next-level segmentation make your heart beat faster, this might be your perfect match. A nationally recognized brand is searching for a Marketing Automation Manager to take ownership of its Salesforce Marketing Cloud ecosystem and help scale a rapidly maturing email program that reaches 100,000+ customers each week. If you bring a strong QA lens to everything from recurring order emails to large-scale event follow-ups, keep reading.

This is not a “learn-on-the-job” kind of role; they need someone who already speaks fluent Marketing Cloud. You’ll build multi-step journeys, tighten QA, improve automations, and help elevate the connection between Marketing and Sales. Think SQL wizardry, journey optimization, and AMPscript mastery, plus the satisfaction of knowing your sends are flawless, targeted, and driving measurable impact. Attention to detail is key here. You will embody the automation engine that makes every customer touchpoint smarter and more seamless. You’ll help evolve how the company thinks about MQLs, journey design, and data-driven personalization, while also cleaning up processes and ensuring accuracy at scale.

You’ll get to collaborate with a sharp, creative, and cross-functional team that values strategy, precision, and continuous improvement while working on innovative projects together, like pilot programs in Salesforce Agent Force and Data Cloud.

This is a fully remote role with some quarterly domestic travel (about 10%).

What's it going to take to score an interview?

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud mastery in a B2B or B2C environment: 3+ years of hands-on experience across Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Email Studio.
  • CRM fluency: Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, with the ability to manage lead and contact data integrity, automations, and syncing.
  • Technical chops: SQL, AMPscript, HTML/CSS, and SSJS skills are essential for building and personalizing campaigns.
  • Strategic mindset + ability to speak up: You think critically about timing, targeting, and message relevance — and you’re not afraid to push back when something doesn’t make sense.
  • Meticulous attention to detail: You double-check everything, take ownership of deliverables, and do everything within your power to prevent preventable errors.
  • Cross-functional finesse: You’re comfortable partnering with creative, IT, data, and sales teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution.
  • Behavioral segmentation experience: You understand behavioral segmentation, nurture tracks, and how to move leads through automated journeys.
  • Bonus points: Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Service Cloud, or workflow automation tools like Airtable and Zapier.

You should take this meeting because ...

This is your chance to own the heartbeat of a major marketing operation at a renowned corporation. If you’re the kind of marketer who gets a thrill from a perfectly executed journey, a clean query, and zero send errors — this is your moment. Reach out to learn more before this one gets snapped up.
