Assistant Director of Marketing
Reporting to the AVP of Marketing & Communications for Middle & Large Business, the Assistant Director of Marketing will lead the marketing strategy and execution for key areas within Middle & Large Business.
This role has accountability and ownership of the messaging and marketing strategy for General Industries (Education, Healthcare, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Life Science, Technology, Private Equity), Verticals (Construction, Energy, Media Arts & Entertainment, Inland Marine) and Large & Complex (National Accounts, Captives, Complex Liability Solutions and Hartford Excess Solutions) to help support business goals and help drive growth.
Our ideal candidate will build strong relationships with business leaders to understand their priorities and goals and translate them into an actionable marketing strategy, inclusive of presentation materials, marketing collateral, web content, and more. This role will partner closely with internal communications, creative services, research and other integrated marketing channel leads to execute on their cross-channel marketing plans. success of initiatives and provide recommendations and rationale for future campaigns.

Success in this role also requires the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to coordinate the development of material, maintain a holistic view of the organization, and secure all necessary approvals.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$102,800 - $154,200
