FOR BUSINESS PARTNERS ONLY- do not apply if you are an individual media/marketing specialist

The Global Centre for Risk and Innovation (GCRI) is an independent, international nonprofit committed to advancing disaster risk reduction (DRR), disaster risk finance (DRF), disaster risk intelligence (DRI), and innovation-driven governance with sovereign and multilateral stakeholders worldwide. Holding special consultative status with the United Nations ECOSOC and operational working groups in more than 120 countries, GCRI delivers trusted research, policy instruments, and digital public goods to strengthen systemic resilience globally.

Role Summary

GCRI invites established media agencies, specialist marketing consultancies, or senior independent media strategists to join as Strategic Media & Marketing Partners to co-create, manage, and scale GCRI’s flagship Future of Media Platform — the world’s first corridor-aligned, clause-verifiable knowledge and storytelling hub dedicated to risk governance, resilience finance, and frontier technology awareness.

This platform directly addresses the growing need for high-integrity public communication and trusted narrative ecosystems in domains with complex, high-consequence impacts: AI alignment, quantum safety, biosafety communications, cyber crisis response, resilient urban design, and treaty-backed corridor development. Partners will drive brand visibility, knowledge outreach, audience engagement, and corridor-specific storytelling campaigns under a structured shared revenue arrangement, ensuring mutual commercial value and mission-aligned impact.

Core Responsibilities

  • Co-develop and manage the Future of Media Platform as a credible, clause-anchored storytelling and campaign environment for risk and innovation stakeholders.
  • Produce and syndicate high-trust content, campaigns, and narrative assets addressing sovereign governance, DRR/DRF/DRI insights, and corridor-level policy breakthroughs.
  • Secure sponsorships and strategic ad placements from aligned governments, international organizations, think tanks, corporate innovators, and verified corridor partners.
  • Lead B2B and B2G media sales, content licensing, and branded knowledge partnerships to expand the platform’s reach and revenue streams.
  • Design robust audience engagement strategies, including corridor-specific newsletters, thematic series, multimedia storytelling, and policy-brief explainer suites.
  • Maintain compliance with clause-verifiable fact-checking and editorial integrity protocols, ensuring all published media aligns with sovereign data standards and GCRI’s global mandate.
  • Report campaign performance, sponsorship revenues, and corridor impact metrics using GCRI’s observability framework and sovereign registry.
  • Represent the platform and its strategic offerings at global resilience forums, multilateral treaty summits, industry expos, and investor roundtables.

Revenue Model and Terms

  • This engagement is structured strictly as a business partnership, not an internal salaried role.
  • The Partner retains an agreed commission share (% of net media revenue) on:
  • Sponsored content and premium editorial placements
  • Corridor-branded series and knowledge licensing
  • Institutional ad contracts and narrative syndication packages
  • Revenue share is calculated and distributed quarterly, subject to verified deliverables and signed sponsorship or licensing contracts.
  • Minimum performance thresholds will be outlined in the partnership agreement to protect quality and maintain corridor-level value delivery.
  • All financial flows and campaign metrics are transparent and indexed through GCRI’s Nexus Sovereignty Framework.

Ideal Partner Profile

  • A reputable media agency, boutique narrative design studio, or seasoned independent strategist with proven success in producing and monetizing high-value content in regulated or frontier tech sectors.
  • Demonstrated capacity to design and execute global thought leadership campaigns in complex domains such as AI governance, critical infrastructure security, climate finance, or treaty diplomacy.
  • Strong track record securing and managing sponsorships with multilateral organizations, sovereign bodies, or trusted public-interest media buyers.
  • Deep understanding of ethical narrative frameworks, open knowledge licensing, and clause-driven fact integrity.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience scaling premium audience networks and monetization channels in niche governance or policy sectors.
  • Commitment to GCRI’s mission and willingness to operate within sovereign-grade compliance and corridor-specific governance principles.

What GCRI Provides

  • Exclusive co-branding rights under GCRI’s globally recognized governance and corridor architecture.
  • Direct access to a pipeline of corridor news stories, policy breakthroughs, simulation data, and treaty milestones to fuel compelling, high-trust narratives.
  • A trusted compliance backbone and clause-verifiable editorial workflows that differentiate the platform in the crowded policy media landscape.
  • Shared marketing resources, event co-hosting, and placement at corridor showcases, global treaty dialogues, and resilience finance summits.

How to Propose a Partnership

Interested partners should submit a succinct agency profile or consultant CV, along with:

  • A brief portfolio of relevant media campaigns and annual revenue highlights
  • A short concept note outlining your strategy to expand corridor-level narrative pipelines and trusted media reach via the Future of Media Platform by 2030
  • Your proposed revenue share structure and earliest availability to onboard
