Job Description

We are seeking a highly driven and creative Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital efforts for our clients and our brand. Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative digital strategies and inbound marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement and customer acquisition. You’ll bring a passion for storytelling and creating meaningful digital experiences, with a strong understanding of the social media and digital landscapes.

This role requires someone confident in setting targets, delivering measurable results, and building strong client relationships while continuously identifying areas for growth and improvement in our digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the charge on all things digital marketing for our clients as well as our company/brand.
  • Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Marketing and managing a team of four, you will be responsible for managing the ideation and creation of digital strategies and inbound marketing campaigns, as well as the execution and monitoring of all campaigns and strategies.
  • Driving brand awareness, engagement and customer acquisition through storytelling is at the core of all of our digital efforts.
  • We are looking for a digital native with experience and a deep passion and understanding of the social and digital spaces.
  • You will need to be confident in your ability to communicate directly with clients, deliver results, set targets, identify areas for development, and direct our efforts in digital marketing strategy.
  • Experience in the environmental and sustainability sectors would be hugely advantageous.

Business as Usual – Your Day-to-Day

  • Managing a team of four digital marketing specialists
  • Managing all client communication, including weekly progress/check-in calls, production updates, requests for feedback/approval, presentations and reporting calls
  • Providing clear and detailed briefs to the four specialists in your team to execute, ensuring they have a full understanding of the scope and client expectations
  • Quality control of all work produced by the Digital Marketing team before it is shared with the client.
  • Manage and lead our internal and pipeline communications.
  • Creating email marketing campaigns for our clients and our own company/brand
  • Ideation and execution of creative ways to take our clients’ brands/organisations to market
  • Manage, mentor and build a team to execute deliverables but you will also need to be able and willing to roll up your sleeves and undertake production as is required.
  • Owning & ensuring optimal performance of all our clients' online assets
  • A data-driven approach to marketing – ensuring ROI is tracked across all activity, consistently reported on
  • Lead generation and business development for our own company/brand

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a digital marketing position
  • Project management and account management experience are essential
  • Proficiency/exposure to tools of the trade, such as: Mailchimp (or equivalent), Monday.com/Clickup (or equivalent), HubSpot (or equivalent), Figma, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, Zapier, Google Suite, Google Search Console and Google Analytics
  • Excellent written communication for copywriting emails, articles and landing pages
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, events marketing, content, email marketing, PR and social media marketing
  • Articulate verbal communication skills for speaking with colleagues, clients and partners
  • Digital Marketing certifications would be highly desirable
  • Great understanding of graphic design and a very keen eye for detail
  • Have a proven track record of developing creative campaign ideas and seeing complex projects through to the end
  • Experience with AHRefs, SEO Rush, UberSuggest or similar
