The Doctors Company team has an opportunity for a Marketing Project Manager to join our Marketing team. This is a hybrid or remote opportunity depending on the final candidate’s location from the company's office.

Position Mission

As a Marketing Project Manager, you will lead the development and execution of regional and national marketing initiatives that align with our company's strategic objectives. You'll bring a strategic, detail-oriented approach to managing complex projects from concept to completion.

You'll lead cross-functional teams, collaborate across departments, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your work will contribute directly to generating qualified leads, enhancing the member experience, and elevating our brand presence in the marketplace.

Success in this position requires strong project management skills, clear and effective communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while also being a collaborative team player.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or Public Relations preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a corporate marketing environment.
  • Proficiency and aptitude with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Ability to build strong relationships and execute strategic marketing plans.
  • Exceptional drive, organizational, project management, and teambuilding skills to deliver results on time and on budget according to well-defined project scope.
  • Ability to manage own workflow and resolve questions or problems.

Responsibilities

Collaboration: Regional, Functional, Departmental, Vendor, Partner

  • Establishes and manages expectations with partners.
  • Works with partners in the development of plans.
  • Proposes solutions to any issues that arise and confirms solution with appropriate resource.
  • Implements solutions in coordination with partners.
  • Prepares briefing material to commission work from third-party creative agency partners.

Data Analytics

  • Coordinates the analysis of data using technical experts both internal and external.
  • Develops recommendations based on data.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Demonstrates the principles of ‘Extreme Ownership’ when managing projects.
  • Coordinates and manages ad hoc teams devoted to developing project deliverables.
  • Creates and maintains work plans and schedules/timetables for multiple interdepartmental programs.
  • Manages deliverable quality review process.
  • Facilitates communication between various project stakeholders, including routing work (e.g. sending drafts of communications projects when requested).
  • Aligns deliverables with corporate brand and preference strategy.
  • Manages project schedule and key dependencies including escalation of issues/ risks as necessary.

Technical Skill / Delivery

  • Utilizes and understand multiple tools and directs the Producer in the use of those tools.
  • Knows where and how to find technical experts when needed.
  • Can maintain a sense of proportion and humor under pressure

Marketing Technology Systems Management

  • Performs proficiently in technology tools as defined in job description in order to develop deliverables. Can demonstrate proficiency in project management software and digital asset management tools,
  • Maintains technology knowledge in required tools.
  • Upload drafts and manage projects using marketing operations system.
  • Ensures integrity of data within marketing systems.

Other Duties As Assigned

  • Accept delegated tasks willingly and follow through on assignments with accountability and attention to detail.
  • Support business process optimization and efficiency by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing solutions as needed.
  • Take on various projects and assignments from management, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company goals.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on assigned projects, meeting deadlines and delivering quality results.
  • Assist with department and company-wide initiatives, including research, surveys, audits, and process improvements.
  • Stay flexible and ready to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team and organizational objectives.

Salary Range: $75,801 - $88,435

Compensation varies based on skills, knowledge, and education. We consider factors such as specialized skills, depth of knowledge in the field, and educational background to ensure fair and competitive pay.
