Wordpress Web Designer - English - Remote in Argentina

The Disartmedia Group is seeking a talented Wordpress Web Designer to bring fresh ideas and expertise in web and graphic design to elevate our clients’ digital presence. This role demands strong design skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment, with a commitment to delivering top-quality web experiences.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Take creative ownership of designing and updating websites for our clients, ensuring each site is visually engaging, functional, and aligned with the client’s brand identity.
• Design and implement new websites and updates to existing sites for clients using WordPress, focusing on both aesthetic and functional quality.
• Collaborate with our marketing team and cross-functional departments to support the design and development of digital marketing elements, such as landing pages, blogs, email visuals, and UI updates tailored to each client’s needs.
• Build digital assets, including graphic mock-ups (using tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator), UI elements, and landing page updates, enhancing various digital marketing touchpoints.
• Maintain and manage content on clients’ websites, updating as needed based on evolving client requirements and brand goals.
• Use HTML5, CSS3, and PHP to develop responsive, device-friendly layouts that offer seamless user experiences.
• Install, customize, and manage themes, functions, and plugins, with Elementor required (knowledge of WP Bakery, Divi, and other builders is a plus).
• Oversee technical requirements, including hosting management (Linux/Apache, AWS, Google Cloud), domain configurations, DNS, and SSL management.
• Utilize data analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook scripts).
• Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in web design, applying the latest insights to improve functionality and aesthetics across client websites.

Ideal Candidate - Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in web and graphic design, with a portfolio that includes live links to recent projects (2022 onwards).

• Communication: Advanced English proficiency (C1-C2 level) is essential, as client communication and most internal coordination are conducted in English.

• Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript​: Solid experience in designing and implementing web layouts, content updates, and customizations in WordPress

• Strong knowledge of the Figma platform.

• Graphic Design Skills: Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma), Canva, and other design tools; experience with generative AI tools like DALL-E and Runway ML is a plus but not required

• .Technical Skills: Familiarity with 301 redirects, WordPress content migration, SEO best practices, and website security protocols

• .Project and Task Management: Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and balance client needs with internal priorities

• .Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

• .Attention to Detail: A keen eye for design aesthetics, UX/UI quality, and client-specific requirements

• .Education: A degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a relevant field is preferred but not required

• .Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the restaurant and hospitality industry trends and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) are advantageous

• .Portfolio and References: Must provide recent references and a portfolio showcasing relevant design projects

• Must reside in Argentina (candidates residing somewhere else won't be considered)

• We have two positions available: One is part-time (3-4 hours/day) and the second one is full-time (6-8 hours/day)
