Position Title: Mainframe Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Systematics Software Engineer to support the development and maintenance of critical banking applications. This role focuses on building scalable and reliable solutions using FIS/Systematics applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, integrate, test, and support mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and VSAM.
• Work with FIS/Systematics applications (GN, RM, MA, IM, ST) in an Agile environment.
• Analyze systems, create specifications, and develop batch and CICS-based applications.
• Support application integration and production environments.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years of experience with FIS/Systematics applications.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve or DYL, and mainframe utilities (e.g., SORT, IDCAMS).
• Experience with production support and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree.
• 5+ years of experience in batch and CICS development.
• Experience with SQL, automated testing, or AWS (preferred but not required).
