The Comfy Place is a growing mental health practice and multi-brand organization based in Georgia, USA. Under our umbrella we run multiple brands serving consumers in various ways. We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who can own our full digital presence and help us grow with intention across every one of these brands.
This is not a content-calendar role and not a general virtual assistant position. We already have a graphic designer, a video editor, and an illustrator producing creative work. What we don't have is someone who can turn an idea into a real plan, brief and direct that team, personally handle the writing and engagement that has to sound genuinely human, and tell us what's actually working.
What Success Looks Like
- Our brands show up consistently and authentically across social media, with real community engagement, not just scheduled posts.
- Leadership hands you an idea and it comes back as a finished, executed plan, without needing to be walked through the strategy each time.
- Our existing creative team is clearly briefed, well directed, and producing on-brand, on-strategy work.
- We can see, in plain numbers, what's working, what isn't, and what to do next.
- Email lists, funnels, and lead generation are actively growing, not sitting idle.
What You'll Own
- Marketing strategy and planning across all our brands, translated into a real content and campaign calendar.
- Day-to-day social media management and authentic, hands-on community engagement (comments, DMs, real conversations) across our channels.
- Briefing and directing our graphic designer, video editor, and illustrator, and reviewing their work before it ships.
- Hands-on content creation yourself: captions, copy, and campaign assets, especially anything that needs to sound like us.
- Email marketing, marketing automation, and funnel building for service offers, workshops, and lead generation.
- Basic website updates (posting blogs, updating offers, landing pages) without needing a developer for every small change.
- PR and visibility efforts, including identifying and pitching podcast, speaking, or media opportunities.
- Tracking real performance metrics and delivering clear, regular reports with recommendations, not just activity logs.
- Understanding client confidentiality and healthcare marketing standards. Nothing gets posted that risks exposing protected client information.
What We Need From You
- 4+ years of professional digital marketing experience, with a portfolio proving it, not just a resume claiming it.
- Real, demonstrated experience across social media, email marketing, funnel building, and basic website management.
- Excellent, fluent professional written and spoken English. You'll be leading conversations with US-based leadership directly.
- Comfort using AI tools to work efficiently, while keeping your writing and engagement sounding authentically human, not AI-generic.
- Ability to work independently and bring ideas forward, rather than waiting to be told what to do next.
- Availability to substantially overlap with US Eastern business hours.
This Is Not the Right Fit If
- Your marketing background is a Canva course or general VA experience.
- You have less than 4 years of professional marketing experience.
- You want to execute a content calendar without owning strategy, metrics, or reporting.
Bonus Points For
- Experience marketing for mental health practices, therapists, coaches, or wellness/healthcare brands.
- Experience managing marketing for multiple related brands or a nonprofit alongside a for-profit brand.
- Experience with GoHighLevel, Zoho, or similar CRM/funnel platforms.
- Paid advertising experience (Meta or Google Ads).
