Job Title: UX/UI Designer
Type: Freelance, 40 hrs/week

Compensation: Up to $65/hr
A fast growing studio is seeking a freelance UX/UI Designer with mobile and gaming experience. This role is embedded with the core product team and will focus on refining key meta systems, driving clarity, retention and fun for players.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and refine the First-Time User Experience (FTUE), tutorials and overall match clarity.
- Build and polish UX/UI for meta systems: home screen navigation, battle pass, ranked progression, store, skins, and live ops menus.
- Deliver wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI assets using Unity, Figma, XD, or similar tools.
- Collaborate closely with design and product leads; participate in weekly playtests and iterate quickly using feedback and data.
Must-Haves (Don’t Apply Without These)
- Proven UX/UI design experience in mobile gaming.
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (Unity, Figma, XD, or similar).
- Strong track record designing HUDs, menus, and player onboarding for mobile titles.
- Solid understanding of mobile game systems.

This is a full-time freelance role at 40 hours per week. The initial contract runs 6 months, with possible extension based on performance and studio needs.
