About the Role
We’re building the Shopify of auctions. Just as Shopify gave entrepreneurs the tools to launch their own online stores, our platform, Indy.auction, is empowering creators, brands, and institutions to run their own fully branded, professional auctions with ease, speed, and beautiful design.
The response so far has been outstanding. Our customers love the product. From independent creators running studio sales to global luxury brands delivering multi-million pound auctions, 100% of our 2025 users have said they plan to use it again.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build, innovate, and improve, bringing fresh ideas and taking real ownership of their work. You’ll play a central role in developing new features and infrastructure as we evolve from MVP to a scalable global platform. You’ll work closely with our product and engineering to ensure performance, reliability, and user experience are at the core of everything we do.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, creative team that enjoys working together and is genuinely excited about what we’re building.
The Auction Collective
We are a team of former Christie’s, eBay, Artsy and auction specialists building the next evolution of auctions. We combine deep industry expertise with cutting-edge technology to help people run auctions that are beautiful, seamless, and effective.
We offer two core services:
Our clients range from independent artists and creators to global charities, restaurants, hospitality groups, mainstream consumer brands, and luxury powerhouses. They use our platform and services to run both commercial and fundraising auctions across art, design, music, fashion, sport, and film.
As a result, life at The Auction Collective is never dull. We’ve helped luxury brands set world records (including a $6.2m watch), enabled charities to raise life-saving funds, supported artists in covering studio rent, and helped brands connect with entirely new audiences through the power of auctions.
Your Career Development
We believe growth and continuous learning are key to both personal and company success. We’re committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment where every colleague feels empowered to develop their skills and reach their full potential.
We encourage open conversations about your professional goals, so we can align your aspirations with the evolving needs of the team and the exciting opportunities ahead as the company grows.
