Thaker Management is a fast-growing U.S.-based performance marketing agency helping home service and local luxury brands scale through Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, TV, SEO, and content creation.
We’re hiring a Shopify & Marketing Systems Lead — someone with a deep understanding of ecommerce, front-end development, and marketing automation who can take full ownership of building and managing Shopify stores from end to end.
This isn’t a task-by-task execution role. We're looking for a leader — someone who can think strategically, make decisions independently, and confidently communicate with clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
Shopify & Ecommerce
- Designing, developing, and optimizing full Shopify stores (homepages, product pages, collections, blogs, custom sections)
- Creating and launching over 500 product pages, bundles, and site-wide optimizations
- Building or customizing Shopify themes with HTML, CSS, and Liquid (PageFly/Shogun experience a plus)
- Managing backend ecommerce systems and 3rd-party integrations (subscriptions, shipping, reviews, loyalty programs, etc.)
- Setting up and managing email/SMS automations via Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar tools
- Ensuring mobile-first UX across all touchpoints — popups, product pages, landing pages
- Owning analytics and tracking setup (GA4, Meta Pixel, GTM, CAPI, server-side tagging, etc.)
- Collaborating with media buyers and creatives to improve site CRO and performance
- Communicating with clients, understanding business goals, and proactively suggesting improvements
- Supporting funnel builds, landing pages, and upsell flows across platforms like Shopify, Unbounce, GoHighLevel, or Webflow
Website Development
- Build high-converting client websites in WordPress, Webflow, and occasionally GoHighLevel
- Work closely with clients and team leads to understand business needs and translate them into clean, fast, mobile-first websites
- Handle site speed, SEO fundamentals, form integrations, tracking, and lead routing
- Make edits quickly, maintain site health, and suggest improvements proactively
Requirements:
- Have 4+ years of hands-on Shopify and ecommerce experience
- Can build and style pages confidently with HTML, CSS, and Liquid (JS is a bonus)
- Know how to set up flows, segmentation, and automations in Klaviyo or similar ESPs
- Understand CRO, A/B testing, and ecommerce user behavior
- Can implement tracking for Meta Ads, Google Ads, and GA4
- Communicate well and take ownership — you’re proactive, fast-moving, and solution-oriented
- Bonus: You’ve worked with U.S.-based service businesses or luxury product brands
Compensation & Structure:
- Pay: $800–$1,400/month USD, depending on experience
- Schedule: 20–40 hours/week (flexible based on availability and performance)
