Freelance Software Engineer

Freelance Senior Software Engineer | Modern Tech Stack | 12-Month Contract | Stockholm

I am working with a well-established enterprise client in Stockholm and seeking to hire a skilled software engineer for a 12-month freelance contract.

The project involves building scalable, cloud-based solutions using a modern tech stack. You’ll be working alongside a strong team of engineers, with a good mix of autonomy and collaboration.

This is a hands-on role with real impact — not a seat-warming gig.

Details:

• Location: Remote with the occasional onsite visit to Stockholm!
• Duration: 12-month contract, likely to extend
• Hourly rate: 800 – 1200 SEK, depending on experience
• Must have full working rights in Sweden

Tech you’ll be working with:

• Node.js
• Typescript
• React
• Golang
• Python
• GraphQL
• AWS (or similar cloud platforms)
• DevOps tools and practices
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Modern development concepts and principles (TDD etc)

A bit about you:

• You’ve got several years of experience as a developer or architect
• Comfortable working with modern cloud-native architectures
• You like clean, maintainable code and understand the bigger picture
• You’re proactive, communicative, and easy to work with
• Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus, not required)
