Summary Of Position

The Brand Design Team is looking for a Senior Visual Designer to create a marketing experience that includes brand, web, and email. This person will help push the brand from a design perspective and should be innovative and help us go beyond what we’ve done in the past. You will manage a team of designers and report to the Vice President, Creative. You are a curious problem solver, a quick study and self starter. You are an excellent communicator with a passion for great design and the dedication to achieve it. We seek patient and friendly individuals who are smart, curious and opinionated; individuals who have the ability to develop points of view. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Use design thinking to push innovation for Livongo products & solutions
• Demonstrate design skills and have a strong point of view and ability to back up your designs with solid rationale
• Design deliverables for web pages, marketing materials and email
• Create elegant experiences from concept to launch that address business, brand and user requirements
• Work collaboratively with other designers, marketers, product managers, and vendors to advocate for the most engaging and thoughtful creative solutions
• Present and articulate concepts in a clear and focused way
• Stay up-to-speed on emerging platforms and technologies and share your learnings with the team
• Protect the integrity of the Livongo brand but know that every great brand must evolve. Be willing to explore creatively.

Qualifications Required

• 5+ years’ experience in web and marketing design in an agency or in-house design team
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates exceptional creative and problem-solving skills
• Experience in responsive web design and marketing, including mobile first design
• Deep knowledge of design principles, best practices and trends
• Expert level in design tools (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Invision)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and able to present concepts eloquently
• Understand business strategies, user research, and market context

Qualifications Preferred

• BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design or related field
• Self-motivated, organized, dedicated, and with skills to balance great design on short deadlines
• Effective at collaborating on projects across multiple teams (design, content, marketing, engineering)
