Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

TekRek is working with a leading global fintech company that is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer on a renewing 6-month contact.

This role will focus on building the next generation of core web applications and user experiences that make digital assets accessible to millions worldwide. You’ll work on large-scale, high-performance systems that operate in real time.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-impact, user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver seamless and performant user experiences.
• Solve complex, large-scale problems involving real-time updates, data visualization, and integrations.
• Contribute to technical design and architectural discussions for new and existing products.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and shipping production web or mobile applications.
• Expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Proven experience building reusable, component-based UI architectures.
• Comfortable collaborating closely with design and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance, accessibility, and testing.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with blockchain, crypto, or financial platforms.
• Background in real-time or data-intensive applications.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and secure, scalable systems.
