Imaging Software Engineering Lead/ Manager

We are searching for a Medical Imaging Software Engineering Manager. This is full time, remote (anywhere in USA or Canada) permanent hire role with our client. In this role as a Medical Imaging Software Engineering Manager, you will provide a highly strategic and critical leadership focused on transforming medical imaging technology functions.

Responsibilities as a Medical Imaging Software Engineering Manager:

• Lead digital transformation of company’s imaging platforms
• Modernize architecture and technology stack
• Reduce reliance on third-party contractors by building internal expertise
• Bring strong medical imaging software knowledge into the organization
• Shape and define the future-state architecture

Required skills as a Medical Imaging Software Engineering Manager:

• 5+ years of clinical or industrial Software engineering and architectural experience in a medical imaging field
• 3+ years of experience a as Software Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role
• 3+ years of C/C++/python programming experience
• Software development lifecycle, software architecture, object-oriented design
• Experience with machine learning, deep learning, computer vision preferred
• Excellent verbal, written and computer-based communication skills
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Medical Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline
• Good problem-solving skills, ability to evaluate situation and prioritize factors in decision making
• Medical imaging or clinical trial industry experience
• Understanding of product functionality (not necessarily a product manager, but product-aware)
• Ability to engage with product teams and business unit leaders
• Agile methodologies within a heavily regulated industry. Experience bringing Agile practices into regulated environments would be highly valuable
