Job Title: C Software Engineer with IAM and security expertise

Duration: 6-Months contract

minor tweek from our engineer. C Software Engineer with IAM and security expertise. Looking for a software engineer with deep and current experience in C and IAM. Comfortable working with legacy codebases that require maintenance and feature enhancements. Environment is multiple Linux distributions, primarily Cent OS and Ubuntu; some on-prem, some in Azure, GitHub source control, and limited containerization. Additional technologies include MIT Kerberos, Grouper, and Microsoft Entra ID with Shibboleth. Higher education or Python experience is a plus.

Description of Duties:

• Looking for a C or Python Developer who has experience with writing code and development in legacy IAM systems. The enterprise his highly customized and they need someone who can keep up with development and customizations until they completely modernize.
• Massive Unix footprint at this college.
• GitHub has all the source control.
• Custom APIs and UI for GROUPER which automates changes to access privileges as a user's role changes (e.g., from student to alumni, from employee to retiree, from employee in FAS to employee in CADM), and enables delegated group management to empower the right people to manage access. 400k security groups in Grouper
