Sr. Software Engineer – Backend (Ruby on Rails & Python)

Location: East Coast (NY, NJ, NC, PA, MA, or nearby)

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a startup mindset and strong backend experience to join our fast-growing team. This role is remote-friendly for candidates based on the East Coast.

What You'll Do:

• Build scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails (v6+)
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and APIs that power our data-driven marketing campaigns
• Work closely with data teams to enhance platform tracking, reporting, and infrastructure
• Collaborate across functions to deliver high-impact features in a fast-paced, product-centric environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong recent experience with Ruby on Rails (backend focused)
• Solid Python skills, especially around data platforms and analytics
• Proven success in startup environments (not consulting roles)
• Passion for clean code, performance, and shipping delivering quality software
