Job Description:
TechJet is seeking a highly experienced Japanese Aerospace Business Consultant to support our strategic growth in Japan. This role requires deep familiarity with the Japanese aerospace industry, including major OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. The consultant will help us navigate Japan’s unique business culture, build trusted relationships, and position TechJet as a reliable supplier of jet engine components—particularly in the compressor segment.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in the Japanese aerospace sector, ideally with exposure to the main companies.
- Deep understanding of Japanese business etiquette, negotiation styles, and long-term relationship building.
- Experience in jet engine manufacturing, with technical knowledge relevant to compressor aerofoils and related components.
- Established professional network within the Japanese aerospace industry, including procurement departments and key influencers.
- Proven track record of facilitating partnerships or supplier relationships between Japanese and foreign companies.
- Familiarity with Japanese government or industry-specific regulations affecting aerospace.
- Ability to provide strategic advice on product-market fit, competitive positioning, and supplier selection criteria in Japan.
- Fluency in Japanese and strong English communication skills.
- Prior consulting experience is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance on how to build credibility and trust in the Japanese aerospace ecosystem.
- Assist TechJet in identifying, approaching, and building long-term relationships with potential Japanese customers.
- Offer insights into the structure and priorities of Japanese aerospace procurement and engineering teams.
- Support contract negotiations and business meetings, ensuring cultural alignment and clear communication.

- Represent TechJet in high-level discussions with local partners and clients when appropriate.
