TechHeads is on the lookout for a talented SDET to join one of our long-standing US clients with a strong development base in Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key role delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

We’re looking for someone proactive, detail-driven, and passionate about quality—someone who’s just as comfortable writing robust automated tests as they are working closely with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.

🚀 What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and maintaining automated test frameworks and test cases for APIs, UI, and backend systems
• Collaborating with developers to embed quality at every stage of the SDLC
• Creating detailed and structured test plans and documentation
• Logging and tracking issues using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
• Working with DevOps teams to embed tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Promoting best practices around test automation and performance optimisation
• Performing exploratory testing to uncover edge-case issues

🧠 What you bring:

• Proven experience as an SDET
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ideally experience with React.js and Node.js
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum environments
• A sharp eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset
