TechHeads is proud to bring you a new opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to work with an established US company. This is a permanent remote position based in Ireland with an exciting company looking to expand their team and product offering.

This role will involve working on web and mobile based applications using a modern tech stack including JavaScript, React and more. Giving you an opportunity to work in a hands role with modern tools that will help you further develop your technological skillset.

You will be part of a dynamic and agile team that work on maintaining existing features and greenfield development. Responsibilities

Collaborate cross-functionally to design, develop, and implement Web and Mobile Applications using React.js, React Native, Node.js, and Postgres.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure that the software development process complies with industry standards.
Ensure code quality through reviews and automated testing.
Continuously explore new technologies and provide recommendations on how to improve the development process.
Promote and exemplify lean startup processes.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
6+ years of experience in developing web applications using mobile and JavaScript technologies.
Proficiency in at least one of the following: Node.js, React.js, React Native.
Proficiency with Postgres or other SQL databases.
Proficiency in cloud application development and deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of software development principles and design patterns.
Strong understanding of mobile application development.
Experience leading and/or mentoring other software developers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
