Main Responsibilities:

Work with a team of software/data engineers and QA’s to develop high-quality web applications from scratch
Perform fullstack web development using Ruby on Rails (Rails) and React.js and other technologies to build scalable web applications
Work with on multiple different products and work with ambiguity
Find and assess bugs and fix them
Support current applications
Follow the process for software development, testing and deployment.
Ensure that assigned user stories (requirements) have sufficient detail to be implemented properly
Ensure that you have sufficient understanding of user stories to provide reliable estimates
Proactively seek learning opportunities to enhance skill sets and career growth
Work with the project manager as needed to build requirements and understanding of software features
Seek to perform good code and not simply just handle tasks
Perform peer code reviews to ensure that code standards and proper architectural patterns are followed
Make suggestions regarding improvements to the software

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be located in India and be willing to work from 7:00pm-10:00pm IST, at least three days a week
3+ years of development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React.js
Proficient in both front and backend development and willingness to do both
English language proficiency (C1+)
Takes proactive initiative on all projects with a strong sense of ownership; emulates curiosity and innovation, instills trust in others
Competent with several engineering tools to resolve complicated software defects
Proficient in data management and database technologies, including SQL
