Technical Program Manager

Team Red Dog is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our client’s global sustainability and data center operations team. This fully remote role (PST hours preferred) focuses on driving energy efficiency, compliance, and regulatory certification programs for the client’s global data center infrastructure. • Office Products (2–3 years): Experience using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to support reporting, documentation, and planning.
• Kusto (2–3 years): Required for querying and analyzing large-scale datasets.
• Azure DevOps (2–3 years): Used for workflow management and task tracking.
• SharePoint (2–3 years): Utilized for document control, collaboration, and status reporting.

Opportunity Overview:

This is a rare opportunity to work on the sustainability front of a global technology organization’s expanding data center operations. You’ll play a critical role in defining and implementing programs to reduce power consumption, achieve key international certifications, and enhance environmental compliance. This is a high-impact role with global visibility and influence.

How you will make an impact:

• Partner with teams across engineering, sustainability, and environmental compliance to develop strategies and execution plans for energy standards and certifications.
• Support certification efforts including ISO50001, EN50600, ISO40001, and others.
• Perform data analysis to identify gaps in compliance and performance.
• Organize and lead cross-functional initiatives to address deficiencies and drive execution toward compliance.
• Develop repeatable frameworks for stakeholder engagement on sustainability and energy efficiency.
• Analyze electrical performance data, define areas for improvement, and implement remediation strategies.
• Interface directly with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy in reporting and alignment to the company’s energy goals.
• Track and report project progress and schedule against defined milestones.

The expertise you bring:

• 8–10 years of professional experience in program management, engineering, energy efficiency, or related fields.
• Working knowledge or familiarity with international standards: ISO50001, ISO40001, EN50600, ISO30134, EU Taxonomy, European Energy Directive, and more.
• Strong skills in technical program planning, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional execution.
• Understanding of technical concepts like thermodynamics, calculus, and systems engineering, with a willingness to learn further.
• Strong organization, communication, and results-driven mindset.
