Business Marketing Development Manager
Location: Remote from AZ, CA, OR, WA, or NV plus Travel
Territory: West Coast and Mountain Time Zone Regions

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive the expansion and revenue growth of our innovative Energy Saving Ceiling (ESC) products. You will focus on market penetration, customer engagement, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the West Coast and Mountain Time Zone Regions. The role involves in-depth market research, strategic planning, and working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in energy and decarbonization markets, analyzing competitive landscape and customer needs.
- Target and evaluate potential markets and customer segments, such as residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Develop and implement market development strategies, setting objectives and KPIs to measure success.
- Create detailed business plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including architects, builders, energy contractors, and sustainability professionals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to ensure alignment on market strategies.
- Analyze customer feedback to refine product offerings and improve marketing efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and standards, ensuring product compliance.
- Adjust strategies based on market feedback and performance data to achieve continuous improvement.
- Work closely with product development teams to align offerings with market needs and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Key Partnerships:
- Engage with project architects, design-build contractors, general contractors, developers, ESCOs (Energy Service Companies), EaaS (Energy-as-a-Service) companies, and sustainability managers to promote the value proposition of ESC products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in market development or business development within the energy-saving or construction products industry preferred.
- Proven success in market entry and expansion.
- Experience with energy-saving building products, decarbonization, or sustainability initiatives highly desirable.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in market research and analysis tools.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
