SUMMARY:
TCM Bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic IT Program Manager to lead and deliver complex, enterprise-scale IT initiatives. This role will oversee multiple strategic programs that drive platform modernization and technology innovation across our ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of program management expertise, financial services knowledge, and technical acumen.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, cross-functional IT programs aligned with business objectives.
- Manage program scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources across multiple workstreams and teams.
- Ensure program governance, stakeholder alignment, and compliance with TCM standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
- Provide executive-level reporting, including dashboards, KPIs, program health, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement, issue resolution, and best practices across program lifecycle phases.
- Coordinate with product, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams to ensure successful integration and deployment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of program management or senior project management experience, with at least 5 years in large IT program delivery within financial services.
- Proven success managing complex programs using Agile, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Deep understanding of core banking systems and payment processing, experience with FIS, Fiserv, and/or Jack Henry a significant plus.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed and cross-functional teams, including third-party vendors.
- Must have ability to work from TCM Tampa location 1-2 days a week, and travel on occasion to Washington DC area.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, MS Visio, Power BI/Tableau, Sharepoint and Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of enterprise technologies such as API integrations, microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with legacy system modernization and financial platform integration.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making ability.
- Leadership presence with the ability to drive results in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP
- SAFe Agilist or other Agile certifications
- ITIL or Lean Six Sigma is a plus
