- Audit and map existing Bubble data types, workflows, and Python add-ons; plan an incremental migration with minimal disruption.
- Implement core app features and AI functionality (LLM-powered flows, tooling, and integrations).
- Collaborate closely with our current development vendor to learn the application and business domain, then take ownership of day-to-day development.
- Establish modern engineering basics
- Uphold security and privacy best practices appropriate for tax/financial data.
What you’ll bring
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience with a strong hands-on mindset.
- Experience with low-code/modern web platforms and building exportable, maintainable codebases.
- Comfortable designing data models, building REST APIs, integrating third-party services, and writing automated tests.
- Fluent English and excellent communication; able to work US Central hour.
Nice to have
- Solid next.js skills.
- Bubble experience (data/workflows/plugins) and prior migrations off no-/low-code.
- LLM/AI experience (prompting, retrieval, function calling, vector stores).
Why TaxRobot
