What you will do

• Drive the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to successful deployment, within an agile framework.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to refine product features and innovate on new ideas, ensuring alignment across teams.
• Develop high-quality, scalable code and contribute to architectural improvements that support rapid traffic growth.
• Embrace end-to-end ownership of your work, advocating for the optimal technologies and tools to build and operate large-scale applications on AWS.
• Design and implement scalable data models and ingestion pipelines to efficiently integrate data from various sources into our data platform, ensuring data integrity and consistency across our products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into robust, performant, and secure data solutions.
• Contribute to the strategic vision for the data platform, identifying opportunities to leverage data for product insights and innovation.

What you are good at

• You are skilled with programming languages, operating systems, and architectures. You have professional experience working with Java (3+ years) and Typescript + React.
• A huge plus if you are curious about the tax domain and the complexity of working in data platforms.
• You do care about how your work and attitude affect those who are around you. You are a dynamic participant not only in feature creation but in creating an open and friendly environment in the team.
• You are motivated to write code that is well-tested and documented; you are more than familiar with Clean Code principles.
• You love to share your knowledge with your co-workers and actively help yourself, and others to be successful.
• Picking up new tools and technologies is easy and exciting for you.
• You are result-driven and encourage your team to reach the goals, getting things done is your thing.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
