About The Role

The Boeing Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Software Engineer to join our AI & Autonomy Applications and Innovations team based in Berkeley, MO. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision to develop innovative aerospace solutions. As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI applications that enhance Boeing’s product capabilities and operational efficiencies. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to research initiatives, and participate in rapid prototyping to bring innovative ideas from concept to reality. The role requires a proactive mindset, a passion for learning, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic, distributed environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in engineering, computer science, or a related field, with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degrees such as a Master’s or PhD are preferred. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including internships or research positions, demonstrating a deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and data mining techniques. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, C++, Java, or C is essential, along with experience working with data tools like SQL, Teradata, Tableau, Gephi, or Airflow. Candidates should also have experience in developing and evaluating machine learning models, deploying AI solutions, and working within an Agile development environment. Knowledge of product management, customer requirements, and translating them into deployed solutions is a plus.
