What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead ideation sessions and rapid testing to discover and develop UX solutions
• Design user interfaces and workflows based on research and client requirements
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into user-centric designs
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on findings to enhance user experience

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Web Design, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in public sector or mission-oriented environments
• 1+ years of experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder due to federal contract requirements

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Portfolio or examples demonstrating your research/design process and deliverables
• Experience working with federal government agencies or digital services teams
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end development limitations/possibilities
• Experience conducting user interviews, journey mapping, or usability testing sessions
