What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Contribute to the design and implementation of high-performance, scalable reconciliation systems capable of processing billions of transactions daily
• Participate in making technical decisions that balance immediate business needs with long-term scalability and maintainability
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate the platform with various financial systems, ERPs, and data warehouses
• Develop core components of the substantiation platform, writing high-quality, efficient code
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers on the team

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on building large-scale, distributed systems
• At least 3 years of experience working with financial data systems, reconciliation processes, or related financial technology
• Strong expertise in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Go) and familiarity with others
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable software solutions that process large volumes of data

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PCI DSS)
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices
