What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software applications using the latest Microsoft technologies with minimal supervision
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives for complex software applications
• Conduct unit testing and assist in code reviews
• Communicate directly with product owners and end users to gather requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in the training or development of others

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience; high school diploma required
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in computer programming with proficiency in ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, and SQL
• Experience in web development programming in a client/server setup
• Proficient in relational database design and writing queries with MySQL or Microsoft SQL
• Familiarity with software development life cycles such as Agile or SCRUM

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with the development and consumption of web services
• Knowledge of XSLT and XML
• Expertise in software design patterns and SOLID design principles
• Experience mentoring other programmers
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced development cycle
