What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Collaborate with end-users, analysts, devOps, and other engineers to enhance data management processes
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate partner and reference data
• Utilize various technologies to transform and load data into a PostgreSQL RDBMS ecosystem
• Implement solutions for data warehousing, machine learning, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with established SDLC principles in a HIPAA regulated environment

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of application development experience involving RDBMS backend
• At least 3 years of experience in an enterprise-grade production environment for SDLC deployments and issue support
• Proficiency in Java (Springboot and Hibernate), SQL (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS), and Python (Pandas preferred)
• Familiarity with Bash/Linux and PL/pgSQL

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with ReactJS, Apache Spark, and Informatica/Talend
• Knowledge of production scheduling tools like crontab or Airflow
• Understanding of HIPAA-compliant data management of PHI and pharmaceutical data structures (HL7 and FHIR)
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
