What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Develop, test, implement, and support solutions for the Life Accounting product team
• Process accounting transactions, income tax, and premium tax reporting for over 8 million policies
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure effective solutions are delivered
• Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the employer's website and legacy systems
• Utilize Assembler and Cobol programming languages for system development and support

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Assembler and Cobol programming languages
• Proficiency in JCL, DB2, and SAS
• Experience with debugging tools like IBM Developer for z/OS® (IDz)
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly GITLAB and Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and workflows

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with CICS
• Exposure to AWS/Cloud Computing technologies
• Ability to manage multiple work assignments effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience in an agile development environment
