What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Design and develop software according to defined specifications
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback
- Engage in scrum ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily standups
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workflows and provide workflow analysis
- Monitor processes, log information, and troubleshoot identified problems
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline required, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in software engineering
- Proven experience in executing end-to-end projects from discovery to post-go-live monitoring
- Competency in coding in an object-oriented programming (OOP) language such as Java, Python, or .NET
- Good knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL)
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in managing EMR data pipelines and integrations (HL7)
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and working on cloud platforms
- Experience with production and consumption of web services (e.g., REST, SOAP, AMQP)
- Ability to effectively use version control, including branching and merging in git
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
