What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Develop and architect automation workflows and custom applications on the BMC Helix platform
• Collaborate with engineering teams to transition platforms to open-source technologies
• Build and configure flows and process builders, ensuring effective integration of web services
• Lead projects and interact regularly with clients and sponsors to communicate progress
• Manage developer tooling across the software development life cycle, ensuring efficiency in operations

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java, or C#
• Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with open-source databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and Infrastructure as Code
• Excellent communication skills to effectively lead projects and collaborate with teams

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with open-source tools such as GIT, Jenkins, and knowledge of Terraform/Ansible
• Familiarity with machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies
• Background in big data and streaming data pipeline architecture
• Knowledge of developer tooling related to test automation and real-time communication
• Experience with Windows Server Administration and Windows Event Log
