What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Contribute to the design and implementation of interfaces between the Self-Driving Truck and Mission Management for Telemetry, Remote Assistance, and Diagnostics use cases
• Write secure, efficient, and maintainable C++ code focused on performance and flexibility
• Clearly communicate daily status on assigned activities and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of experience (or Master’s with 4+ years)
• Proficiency in modern C++ (11/14/17), design patterns, and real-time application development
• Solid experience with Linux, ROS, and embedded system interfaces
• Hands-on experience with IoT frameworks, WebRTC, and video streaming pipelines
• Familiarity with diagnostics protocols such as SOVD and UDS

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Exposure to cloud-based diagnostics or monitoring platforms
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with automotive cybersecurity (ISO 21434, threat modeling)
• Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, or TSN-based vehicle networks
• Prior work on over-the-air update pipelines or remote debugging tools
