What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs regarding functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of client onboarding applications, including integrations with 3rd party systems
• Drive best practices and guidelines implementation while adhering to departmental standards
• Conduct impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture and technology solutions
• Supervise release processes, which may require after-hours or weekend work

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED with 8 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
• Strong proficiency in design and development of distributed systems
• Development experience with Java/J2EE, Restful Web services, Node, and React
• Experience with micro-services architecture and public API development
• Demonstrated experience utilizing CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Delivery) techniques

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Technical leadership experience for medium to large-sized enterprise projects
• Experience with messaging/middleware technologies (e.g., Kafka, MQ)
• Familiarity with AWS services and developing AWS infrastructure using scripts (Terraform, etc.)
• Knowledge of banking/payments industry and experience in modernization efforts
• Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Docker, and OpenShift
