What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful/GraphQL APIs and backend services primarily using Java (Spring Boot, DropWizard)
• Collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams to implement and deploy machine learning models
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions for scalable systems
• Develop test suites to enable rapid deployment of code to production
• Mentor junior engineers and guide them on modern software development frameworks

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in backend technologies, microservices architecture, and Java (Spring Boot or DropWizard)
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL database technology and cloud computing techniques
• Experience with version control systems and modern debugging techniques
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States and at least eighteen years of age

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with Elastic Search, GCP, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with security frameworks for user and service authorization and authentication
• Experience in creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and modern software design patterns
