What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Oversee the entire project life cycle from initiation through closure, ensuring timely and on-budget completion
- Facilitate multi-disciplinary project teams and collaborate with operational owners to set project goals and priorities
- Maintain accurate project plans and ensure alignment with defined benefits through regular post-project auditing
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and present solutions to project leadership
- Mentor project managers and the revenue cycle leadership team in project management principles and practices
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Project Management certification with 3+ years of experience required; experience with Epic revenue cycle applications required
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and project management tools such as Jira
- Ability to manage complex, enterprise-wide healthcare IT projects
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in an Academic Medical Center
- Certification in an Epic revenue cycle application
- Demonstrated skills in analytical and process/systems thinking
- Proven ability to earn credibility with leaders across the healthcare organization
- Experience managing complex projects in a healthcare IT environment
