What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Maintain and develop virtual CPU and memory aspects of the virtual machine platform
• Design and deliver features in support of new processors and enhancements for the virtual machine monitor architecture
• Engage in the design and implementation of upcoming CPU instruction set updates in a virtualization context
• Contribute to memory virtualization/management features and monitor modernization efforts
• Propose design roadmaps and lead technical efforts for more senior roles

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in C and assembly programming
• Experience working in the kernel and/or virtualization space
• Proficient in x86 CPU architecture
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with CPU feature enablement, confidential computing, or power-aware compute
• Background in low-level OS kernel internals and system software
